Troy Pariag is a Global Mobility Program Leader and Immigration policy advocate with over 15 years of experience driving innovation at the intersection of immigration, technology, and compliance.

 

At IBM Canada, Troy managed a $25M+ mobility portfolio supporting 400+ international assignees while modernizing policies, compliance frameworks, and vendor partnerships. He pioneered the development of an AI-driven predictive model for work permit approvals that boosted visa success rates to over 99% and earning recognition from the U.S. Patent Office. He also played a key role in shaping federal policy through consultations on the Global Skills Strategy (GSS) and Global Talent Stream (GTS).

 

Recognized among the HR Global Mobility Top 100 Innovators and the Top 250 Most Admired Corporate Professionals, Troy has also influenced national immigration policy through leadership roles with the Canadian Employee Relocation Council (CERC) and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce. Troy recently completed the Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law at Queen’s University and having passed the CICC Entry-to-Practice exam, Troy is transitioning into practice as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC).
